Integrated Voter Engagement (IVE)

The IVE Working Group is growing relationships within NOAH member organizations through an effort called the “Mapping Project.” We are getting to know each other’s stories and deeper interests in community issues and placing people on the Nashville map. The IVE team will be holding its own retreat at the end of April to set the stage for 2022 elections and more! The IVE Working Group meets on the fourth Tuesdays of the month at 5 pm.

What should be done?

Voters that engage in local elections are more likely to participate in state and federal elections. That is why NOAH prioritizes engaging with voters consistently, not just in big election years. NOAH’s IVE program focuses on:

  • Canvassing across Nashville to spread awareness about upcoming elections
  • Encouraging individuals with a medium voter-propensity to make a plan to vote
  • Sharing resources with unregistered voters on how and why they should register to vote

be the change you want to see.
